CALL FOR ARTIST ASSISTANT
May 28th-June 19th
Bushwick, Brooklyn
$2,500 Compensation
Looking for an assistant for a ceiling mural in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The mural is 1,400 square feet and must be started on May 28th and completed by June 19th. The work will be painted outside, but the area is covered.
The hours we can be onsite to work are flexible, working at least 8 hours a day. We will not have access to the space on Fridays or Saturdays.
I am looking for an assistant with experience in painting precise, clean line work and can work quickly. Experience working large scale and in the public is a plus. Knowledge of basic math and problem solving is helpful. And if you have painted a ceiling before, awesome!
I will only consider artists that are available for the complete duration of the project.
There will be one lift that we will be working on together so I will be setting up interviews to make sure we can get along working together in tight quarters.
